Introducing...Berwyn Baptist School began operation in 1967 as a preschool and kindergarten. Since then, it has expanded to include Grades 1--8 to meet the growing needs of the church and community for high-quality Christ-centered education. The school is characterized by good discipline, accomplished without coercion or tension. Children are taught to respect one another and people who are in authority. |
Our Purpose...“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 The goal of Berwyn Baptist School is to provide a solid academic education integrated with a Christian view of God and the world. Recognizing that God has established a “more perfect way” for mankind, it is in our best interest to seek to know this way. The school desires to assist the children in character development that will equip them for further education and the requirements of life in our society. The faculty recognizes that each child has been created with unique potentials and abilities. It is our purpose to assist each child to develop fully and completely. We believe that all truth is God’s truth, including history, science, math, language and the arts. We also desire each child to develop a set of values consistent with the Bible and a lifestyle which will be pleasing to God. The school has a fundamental precept that the home and school must work together for the successful education of the child. We encourage each parent to participate in the Parent-Teacher-Partnership Program and to pray daily for the students, faculty and administration of the school. |
